Do not wash, we have cleaned it and lightly dusted it with cinnamon. Simply add one part porridge to four parts water (if you are making 1/2 cup porridge, add 2 cups water). Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. It takes about 7 mins to cook and thicken. Add more cinnamon at this point if you want. Add to a bowl, add some milk and top with fruits, nuts, seeds and honey.
